In honour of Remembrance Day there is a new character design up in the Gallery.
I watched a documentary today (Spitfire Women) that was incredibly inspiring. Here's the text from the Gallery image:
"The Air Transport Auxiliary (ATA) was a British civilian organisation set up during the Second World War . 1 in 8 pilots were female. These women flew the Royal Air Force's front-line aircraft—Spitfires, Typhoons, Hudsons, Oxfords, Walruses, etc. in non-combat roles, but in combat-like conditions...
and in my estimation they sound like total badasses."
To find out more about the actual pilots head over to BBC's website:
Oh, and I know their uniforms aren't correct - I was doodling as I watched so I just focused on basic shapes and made up the rest from there.
